A Daily Newspaper With No Way to Reach the Digital Reader

Tanjungpinang Pos is a daily regional newspaper serving readers across Kepulauan Riau. As digital media consumption accelerated, the publication faced a fundamental challenge: readers increasingly expected to access news on their smartphones - not wait for a physical copy.

Without a digital reading platform, the paper could not retain existing subscribers who moved away from print, nor reach younger audiences who had never subscribed to a physical newspaper. Additionally, there was no structured way to manage digital subscriptions, process payments online, or give the editorial team visibility into reader engagement and transaction status.
